At our booth at VivaTech this afternoon we enjoyed an insightful conversation with leaders from Microsoft, Danone, and PwC to explore what truly matters in AI adoption: value creation.

Gone are the days when efficiency was the holy grail. AI isn’t just about doing things faster: it’s about doing better. Think Co-Pilot use cases that saved Microsoft $440M in support costs, or Danone equipping 95% of their finance teams with AI tools. At PwC, AI is compressing audit workflows so professionals spend less time gathering data and more time creating insight.

But value isn’t just in the tech…it’s in the people. This panel nailed it: upskilling, trust, and culture are the real accelerators. From Data & AI Academies to “lunch & learn” rituals, success hinges on adoption, and on making AI less scary, more empowering.

We also touched on something that doesn’t get enough airtime: the new metrics of success. Not just ROI, but “velocity” (faster decisions) and “vitality” (how AI energizes your teams). These are the KPIs of tomorrow’s leading organizations.

Big thanks to: Kazi Islam (PwC), Mark Flavel (PwC), Julie Leclerc (Danone), Uli Homann (Microsoft)

And to everyone pushing for an AI future where value is not only measurable….but shared.
